With roots in Co. Limerick and Co. Mayo, Fáilte blends deep knowledge of traditional Irish music with a fresh, contemporary twist, to create the authentic experience of an Irish trad session in any venue.
Their sound is anchored by the soulful button accordion and powerful fiddle, with the powerful vocals of frontman Lloyd John bringing feel good energy to every performance. The band draws on a range of influences, from childhood summers spent at the Willy Clancy Summer School, to years of playing in session bands and performing at prestigious events like Fleadh Cheoil and various St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in London.
