The Alexandra - Wimbledon

The Alexandra is a south-west London pub with a strong local community and a high volume of passing traﬃc during the Wimbledon tennis tournament. We were briefed to provide a varied live music package, with the aim of attracting local footfall into the venue and making the pub the fan’s preferred entertainment destination.

After our consultation, we viewed the venue and established with the manager that placing exceptional artists outside the in the early evening would capitalise their footfall, and then on weekends placing live bands inside the venue would keep these customers spending until the early hours.

Successful Entertainment

Exceptional implementation by the Alexandra team and Rostar’s rotation of exceptional artists led to live music being an unprecedented success. Friday 4th July saw the pub smash their single day sales record, which was part of a record breaking sales week for the venue. Using this platform as a kickstart for live music, Rostar recommended that the venue continue with weekend live music to attract the strong community of locals in the area who responded positively to live entertainment.
